We do what we do as missionaries supported by people like you.

We also prefer to give away as much content as we can, and not cloud that issue with a lot of public requests. That said, we do have specific needs that are met by people who believe the work we do has value.

If you'd like a short list of immediate financial needs, you can find it HERE.

Unabashed Event Plug

We’re about 10 days out from the Zoe Foundation Vision/Fundraising Dinner on Thursday, May 14.

I thought it would be a good time for a Top Ten Reasons You Should Attend..

10. Cheap eats.

Yep, dinner is free. We’re working the kinks out of the menu, but you’re going to need to trust us. There will be good food and plenty of it. We do not take these things lightly. RSVP HERE

09. Funkadelic Setting.

Every city has it’s own grand, elegant banquet facility. And any monkey can do a banquet at one of those. We’re staying true to our quirky roots by hosting it at the Kansas City Arts Incubator. Pictured here, one of our team described it this way – “It’s gorgeous if we don’t turn the lights up too high.”

If you’re more likely to drive a Gremlin than a Lamborghini, this gig is for you. Not a suit and tie person? Cool with us. Bring your heart, leave your tux at home. By the way, that’s TZF Board Member, Jill Cataldo, playing charades in the photo. She’s pretending to be Jaws eating the Philistines or something. RSVP HERE

08. It’s Thursday Night In Kansas City

Kansas City likes to call itself “The City of Fountains”. Many of us affectionally call it “The Town That Goes to Sleep Early.” If you’re not in the prayer room at IHOP, this WILL BE the gig that night. RSVP HERE

07. You care about LIFE in a holistic way.

Adoption, abortion and everything in between are not simple issues. The Zoe Foundation seeks to address the needs of both baby and birth mom. Learn how we’re teaming with ministries who are doing the stuff right now as well as what we have planned in the future for caring for infants, adoptive families, and birth moms. RSVP HERE

06. Redemption intrigues you.

We all know stories about someone who makes a mistake and pays for it the rest of their life…but once in a while, someone finds a way to allow God to turn their error into something absolutely beautiful. We’ll talk about the redemptive power of adoption and what it does for a community. RSVP HERE

call-al-1240_205. Lou Engle, pretty fired up about something.

We love Lou. Admit it, he makes you feel like you can pray through a brick wall.

Seeing Lou fired up is worth the drive itself. RSVP HERE

04. You think adoption costs too much.

We agree, and we’ve got a few ideas up our sleeve to help people adopt. Some of you will benefit directly from this in coming months and years. Hear about it at the ground floor level. RSVP HERE

03. You think adoption takes too long.

If you believe this, it’s proof you’re sitting with the wrong kids in the lunch room.

Take a look at the mugs below. Waiting period from Home Study to Buying Diapers? 48 hrs.

Granted, results may vary, but there are steps you can take to position yourself for the very same roller coaster. Everybody put your hands in the air. RSVP HERE

02. You can pick up a free CD.

bohlender72_2_2Two years ago, in a sweltering tent in Fort Mill, SC, Kelsey preached about a coming adoption movement.

When it was over, Lou Engle prophesied that she was the mother to the movement she was calling for – one of a million adoptions. Both her message and his remarks at the end will be available on CD, for free. Come and get’m. RSVP HERE

01. You want a story of your own.

At some point, it gets old watching the parade. You want to make yourself some change in the world – be it as an adopting family or someone who helps make it happen for others. This night will allow for both.

Some will contribute finances, others will have other contributions, and some will be deeply stirred to action that will find it’s expression in months to come. RSVP HERE

On behalf of The Zoe Foundation, I hope to see you there….but honestly, I hope you come for you, too.

  1. I am BEYOND excited! It’s pretty much the highlight of my year.

  2. We live in Tallahassee, FL and are praying for this event. So sad we can’t get there…but definitely in one accord!

  3. I soooo want to be there. Alas, I live in New England and am expecting a visit from a crazy group of people who refer to themselves as “Radiant” so I will not be able to attend. Want to plan an event in this area? I’ll lend as many hands as I have available….

  4. If I only lived in KC….

To add to Kerri’s question, you heading to the Northwest some time? Seattle?

  5. Cincinnati’s was great…one of the best dinners i’ve been to. Good food, my bros and sis’ in Christ, and a LIFE talk at the end.

I totally enjoyed the part about Lou Engle fired up about something. I will be praying for a great turnout.

    -my full support.
