Invariably, people will hear about my blog and ask “what do you write about?”. Uh, awkward pause. A little bit of everything, but these are things that are particularly important to me and will find there way into a lot of the content.
Family. We have three biological sons (15, 11 and 7) and have adopted three infant girls in less than two years. Through it, our hearts have expanded far beyond anything I could imagine. The role of adoption in relation to the age we live in is huge to me. With six kids and one on the way, our life is a rolling party. This is your ticket to the parade.
Gadgets. If it has clickable buttons, I like it. Long time readers have accused me of being hard on them, but the truth is, when I get bored, I drop them on the concrete.
Events. I am an avid reader of the news. I also grew up in a small town, which means I now follow politics with a unique understanding. Stuff happens all the time and I like to comment.
Ideas. I read a lot of stuff by people that I don’t agree with. Sometimes, they’re right and I’m wrong. Other times, they’re still wrong and I’m right(er). I do like pondering the chance that one of us might be convinced by the other.
God. Oddly, you won’t find many posts dedicated specifically to God-thoughts, because I have a hard time separating them from my other thoughts. More likely, they’ll be woven in to family, ideas, current events, and who knows…gadgets?
